The book has been bound in two volumes, reflecting duality, each with an overlay of an albatros looming out towards the observer. Coleridge was both poet and philosopher, and like all the romantic poets referred to the Imagination, which we, in our post Jungian time, now call the Unconscious.

The box has a compartment with a black lining which contains fragments of Coleridge's writings.

This won an award in 2004.
